The time to walk off the floor after soft-scope surgery for kidney stones needs to be analyzed in conjunction with the patient’s surgical modality. At present, for kidney stone patients with poor conservative treatment results, surgery is recommended, and different minimally invasive surgical options are chosen according to the site of the stone and the patient’s physical condition. At present, there are mainly two minimally invasive surgical options: ureteroscopic lithotripsy and percutaneous nephrolithotripsy for stone extraction. With different surgical options, the recovery of patients after surgery is not quite the same. If patients take ureteroscopic lithotripsy surgery, they can walk around on the 2nd day after surgery because there is no surgical incision, but they should be careful not to involve the catheter. If the patient takes percutaneous nephrolithotomy for stone extraction, a small incision in the kidney area is required, and a drainage tube needs to be placed after the surgery, and the patient needs to be absolutely bedridden for 2-3 days after the surgery, and then the drainage tube is removed according to the recovery situation, so the patient’s time on the ground is usually about 3-4 days. Regardless of which surgical option is taken, patients are advised to drink more water during the recovery period to promote urine discharge and recovery of the affected area.
