Knee cysts are mainly considered in the following two cases: 1. popliteal cysts , which are the most common cysts in clinical practice, mainly related to the lesions of the knee joint, the cysts are connected to the knee joint, treatment is required to remove the cysts and the cyst wall at the same time, and to address the lesions of the knee joint at the same time to be able to recover, requiring minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery of the knee to address the causes of cyst formation, while the cysts are removed in the posterior approach. 2. Meniscal cysts, which occur at the edge of the meniscus, especially anterior meniscal cysts are more common. As long as the cysts in the knee joint are manifested, magnetic resonance imaging can clarify them and treatment requires surgical removal.
