Can breast cancer be cured?

Thoracic cancer is a malignant tumor that occurs in the mediastinal area of the chest and is relatively rare. Generally, according to the early and late stage, if it is relatively early, it is possible to cure it, mainly through surgery. Generally, if postoperative treatment is combined with radiation therapy and chemotherapy, the effect is better. If there is no recurrence for more than five years, it is considered to be clinically cured. However, there are some cases with large lesions that cannot be completely removed, so palliative reduction surgery can be done. In addition, there is no cure for metastatic thymic carcinoma, which can only be controlled by radiotherapy and chemotherapy after a clear diagnosis through biopsy and pathology. Targeted therapy can be considered to prolong the survival and reduce the pain, but it cannot cure the disease completely.
