Is a swollen foot in pregnancy a sign of pelvic pain?

Swollen feet are not indicative of pelvic pain. Swollen feet in pregnant women are pregnancy oedema and can be caused by three factors. Gestational hypertension syndrome, perinatal cardiomyopathy and uterine compression of the pelvic veins can all cause swollen feet, with gestational hypertension syndrome and perinatal cardiomyopathy not being related in any way to the pelvis.
