Laughing will cause the round ligament to tense up due to muscle tremors, which will excessively pull on the uterus and cause abdominal pain. When you want to laugh, cough or sneeze, you can bend slightly to reduce the stretching of the round ligament. It is recommended to avoid hard exercise and actions that increase abdominal pressure after IVF, such as lifting heavy objects, laughing, and coughing violently. The increase in abdominal pressure will affect the embryo’s implantation. If there is abdominal pain with vaginal bleeding, it is suggestive of implantation failure, miscarriage, etc., and timely medical treatment is needed.
