What kind of people are prone to eating disorders when they lose weight?

In modern society, food and clothing are no longer a problem, and it is popular to be “thin as beautiful”, so a large percentage of people are trying to lose weight and control their weight. However, some people go to the extreme and develop anorexia or bulimia, which can cause great harm to the individual physically and mentally. Not all dieters will develop an eating disorder. What kind of people are prone to this problem? 1, people with low self-confidence Most people lose weight just to put the icing on the cake, but people with low self-confidence equate confidence with weight. Low weight means that they are appreciated and noticed; weight gain means that their advantages are all gone. They actually want to solve their sense of lack of confidence in their studies, interpersonal relationships, family relationships, etc. through their weight body type. Some people have been fat and discriminated against in the past, and they vowed to “get rid of the shame”. Once they lose weight and people around them give them different compliments and attention, they will want to further reduce their weight, which is already in the normal range, in order to maintain or get more “warmth”. In order to maintain or receive more of this “warmth,” patients will want to further reduce their weight, which is already in the normal range. Rather than being afraid of gaining weight, they are afraid of feeling discriminated against, devalued, and left out. There are also some people who are not fat, have good academic performance, and have been praised since childhood, but as they get older, when their academic performance is no longer advantageous, they cannot stand the loss of their superiority, and they will continue to gain the attention of others and maintain their superiority by lowering their weight. These people are good learners, but do not have self-confidence, but only “he confidence”. There are also children who are young, controlled and repressed by their parents in the family, and have no self-confidence and are unable to rebel against their parents. They control their own weight to slow down their parents’ control, to win their parents’ love, and even to control their parents in this way, so that they can’t stop. 2, people who go to extremes Most people lose weight will increase or decrease food in accordance with their body’s response in due time, using a more flexible approach. But people who go to extremes are prone to take the bull by the horns, and once they have made up their minds to diet, they will not allow themselves to eat one more bite, they must lose weight, they will not allow a little rebound, they emphasize every detail, they will not give themselves relaxation, they will not give themselves affirmation, and their behavior is more stubborn and stereotypical. In this process, such people are also climbing with others, through their own more than others to control the desire, and gain a sense of superiority, in fact, there is also the problem of low self-confidence. Therefore, if people with low self-confidence, people who go to extremes and are easily demanding, they should be careful in the weight loss process to avoid developing eating disorders and deviating from their original intention of pursuing goodness; family and friends of such people should also be careful to remind them to stop in moderation and not to overdo it.
