Effects of Gourd

Fenugreek is used as a diuretic to relieve water retention and edema (to facilitate urination and eliminate water retention). It is mainly used in the treatment of edema and gonorrhea (frequent urination, painful urination) and other conditions. It can be used to treat edema, swelling of the face and eyes, edema of the abdomen and dysuria (unsmooth urination), etc. It can promote diuresis and gonorrhea, and can be used in the treatment of feverish gonorrhea (burning and tingling pain in urination, accompanied by urinary urgency, and discomfort in the abdomen) and hemorrhagic gonorrhea (the appearance of blood in the urine and accompanied by a painful sensation) and other disorders. In addition, fenugreek is used in combination with other herbs to relieve dampness and jaundice (promoting water-dampness to get rid of jaundice), and is mainly used in the treatment of damp-heat jaundice (where the patient mainly exhibits the symptoms of yellow eyes, yellow urine and yellow body). Fenugreek is used as a decoction and is prohibited to be taken by people with middle cold. It should be noted that the use of traditional Chinese medicine should be under the guidance of a doctor, and should not be used blindly on its own to avoid adverse effects.
