Achilles tendonitis pain is located near the Achilles tendon above the back of the heel bone and is often worse with activity.
Achilles tendonitis is a non-bacterial inflammatory disease that occurs in the Achilles tendon and surrounding tendon membrane. Its etiology is unclear, but it is usually thought to be related to chronic strain injury, strenuous exercise, trauma, autoimmunity and other factors. Its pain is located near the Achilles tendon and its accessory tissues at the back of the ankle joint, 4 to 7 cm above the heel bone.
The pain can be manifested as pain and stiffness at the site of injury in the morning, which can be exacerbated after foot movement and Achilles tendon stress, especially after strenuous exercise, which can be manifested as severe pain. It may be accompanied by thickening and swelling of the tendon and its accessory tissues.
If you have any of the above symptoms or suspect Achilles tendonitis, it is recommended that you go to the hospital in time to avoid delaying your condition.
