How to pay attention to the diet of kidney stone patients

The main reason for the formation of kidney stones is diet. It is caused by excessive intake of relevant components in the diet that can form stones, so it is important to limit the food that can easily contribute to stone formation. 1, calcium oxalate stones: low oxalic acid, low calcium diet. ① to eat less spinach, asparagus, wild rice, water chestnuts, green garlic, greens, snow, onion head, radish, beets, peppers, celery, strong tea, all kinds of beans, tofu, milk, squash, kelp, sesame paste, mushrooms, shrimp, chocolate, cocoa, walnuts, nuts, etc.; ② to provide alkali-producing food to alkalize the urine, such as eating more fruits and vegetables. 2, calcium phosphate and magnesium ammonium phosphate stones: low calcium, low phosphorus diet and acidification of urine. ① restrict high phosphorus diet, including eggs, animal offal, fish eggs, sardines, soybeans and peanuts, etc.; ② provide acid-producing diet, such as grain products, noodles, bread, etc. 3, uric acid stones: low purine diet, more fruits, vegetables, milk, favorable urine alkalinization. 4, should not drink beer:Brewing beer wort contains calcium, oxalic acid and nucleotide components, easy to make urinary tract stones. The kidney stone patients often “talk about calcium”, wrongly believe that the culprit of kidney stones is calcium, but in fact, kidney stone patients also need to supplement calcium. The first is that calcium supplementation can combine with oxalic acid contained in vegetables in the gastrointestinal tract to form insoluble calcium oxalate, which is excreted in the feces, reducing some of the oxalic acid absorbed by the gastrointestinal tract and excreted by the kidneys, thus reducing the chances of forming kidney stones. The second is the “acid-base balance theory” proposed by Japanese scholars. In other words, when blood is acidic, stones are easily formed. When it is alkaline, it inhibits the formation of stones. When the blood is acidic when calcium is lacking, the blood will be alkaline when calcium is reasonably supplemented, which will help to inhibit stone formation.
