Leukemia can be cured. Some of the patients treated at our center are married, have children, and visit the ward after having children, so leukemia can be cured and children can be born after the cure. Leukemia is treated differently depending on the classification, let’s say acute lymphoblastic leukemia and acute non-lymphocytic leukemia, the treatment is different. Acute non-lymphocytic leukemia usually must be cured by bone marrow transplantation after remission, while acute lymphoblastic leukemia can mostly be cured by chemotherapy. The so-called chemotherapy, called chemotherapy, is a combination of chemotherapy drugs to clear the leukemia, and then consolidate the treatment, and then clear the extramedullary, let’s say in the meninges, cerebrospinal fluid, and boy testes, and clear it to keep the disease from recurring, called maintenance therapy, and there is a combination of intrathecal injection of drugs. Now the leukemia cure rate is getting higher and higher, especially now that there is genetic mutation fusion gene testing, small molecule targeted drugs, etc. Some leukemia can be cured by taking simple chemotherapy targeted drugs. For example, the chronic granulocytic leukemia aired in “I am not a drug god” has a BCR/ABL gene fusion mutation, which leads to a fusion gene after the mutation, which can be cured by PKI generation, second generation and third generation targeted drug therapy, even without chemotherapy or bone marrow transplantation. So some leukemias can be cured radically.
