Liver cancer patients can involve obvious and unrelieved pain in the right shoulder blade, shoulder joint and other areas. For patients with progressive stage of hepatocellular carcinoma, they present with fixed, obvious and unrelieved pain in the right shoulder, scapula, back of shoulder and other locations, accompanied by localized pressure pain and lumps. Tumor compresses the diaphragm and nerves, causing involving pain, and pain in the right upper abdomen, related to breathing will occur. Hepatocellular carcinoma patients will have pain in the right shoulder, and the patient’s condition can be judged according to the location, nature and changes of the pain and then the patient’s condition. If patients have pain in shoulder joint when exercising or lifting heavy objects, it may be a case of frozen shoulder, and they need to go to hospital for differential diagnosis to exclude whether the shoulder symptoms are caused by hepatocellular carcinoma.
