Is there a high chance that the new coronavirus can be transmitted to people through clothing?

The chances of transmitting a new coronavirus to a person through contaminated clothing are extremely low. Viruses are non-cellular organisms that are tiny in size, simple in structure, contain only one nucleic acid (DNA or RNA), and must parasitize and reproduce by replication within living cells. Thus, a virus leaves its host and becomes a chemical that has no life activity and cannot reproduce itself independently. If you have not been to a specific place, such as visiting a patient in a hospital or coming into contact with someone with suspicious symptoms, you do not have to worry too much about transmitting the virus from your clothing and do not need to specifically disinfect your clothes.
