Be wary of postmenopausal vaginal bleeding

In particular, people with combined hypertension, diabetes, obesity and exogenous estrogen supplementation are the high-risk group. Many of them develop after menopause and their main manifestations are: abnormal vaginal bleeding and endometrial thickening. The thickness of the endometrium after menopause should be below 0.5 cm and should be alarming if it reaches or exceeds this value. Hysteroscopy or diagnostic curettage is usually feasible. Endometrial cancer is a kind of gynecological malignant tumor that can be detected at an early stage, and the treatment effect is better, and many of them can even achieve the effect of cure. Therefore, it is recommended that every middle-aged and elderly woman should have a gynecological cancer screening checkup once a year, especially for women with high-risk factors. Specifically: gynecological ultrasound, CA125, cervical thin layer liquid-based cytology (TCT), HPV and other tests.
