What are the precursors of brain attack

Patients with cerebral infarction often develop in quiet or sleep without typical aura symptoms, but some cases may have precursor symptoms of transient ischemic attack such as limb numbness, weakness, and transient black haze. The clinical symptoms of cerebral infarction patients are related to the site and area of cerebral infarction, for example, cerebral infarction mostly manifests as limb paralysis, hemiplegia and hemianopsia (hemianopsia), while brainstem infarction may show symptoms such as impaired consciousness, tetraplegia, facial and tongue paralysis, and slurred speech. Cerebellar infarction may present with symptoms such as vertigo, vomiting, unsteadiness in walking and slurred speech. In addition, clinical symptoms of lacunar cerebral infarction are mild, and some patients may have no obvious symptoms. It is important to note that cerebral infarction patients have complex symptoms and lack typical aura symptoms, which makes prevention and treatment of cerebrovascular disease even more important. Studies have shown that hypertension, smoking, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, atrial fibrillation, obesity and excessive alcohol consumption are all risk factors for the occurrence of cerebrovascular disease, and the preventive treatment of cerebral infarction is to carry out therapeutic interventions against these risk factors, using blood pressure control, blood sugar, physical exercise and additional antiplatelet, anticoagulant and statin drugs to carry out preventive treatment of cerebrovascular disease and reduce the risk. In conclusion, most patients with cerebral infarction do not have typical aura symptoms before the onset of the disease, and some patients may have abnormalities such as transient limb numbness and weakness, but most patients have high risk factors such as hypertension, diabetes, smoking, and dyslipidemia, etc. These patients should undergo standardized preventive treatment, and timely consultation and treatment should be provided if they have discomfort such as limb weakness, speech disorders, and facial palsy.
