Schizophrenia is characterized by recurrent episodes and prolonged illness, and long-term medication is necessary to control symptoms. About 50% of schizophrenia patients cannot adhere to their medication due to lack of self-awareness, adverse drug reactions, and other reasons, resulting in relapse. This causes great physical and psychological damage to patients and a serious economic burden to their families and society. The treatment compliance of schizophrenia patients has always been the focus and difficulty of psychiatry. We pioneered a comprehensive treatment method that integrates the advantages of hypnotic suggestion therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy, and proposes an effective and lasting treatment method for schizophrenia patients’ self-knowledge and medication compliance. The method was awarded a scientific research project by the Hunan Provincial Health Department in 2013. In order to better serve the public, we are recruiting participants from our hospital and the community who are in need of treatment. Participant requirements: ① Patients with schizophrenia aged 18 to 60 years old. ② No physical or organic brain disease. ③ Non-pregnant and lactating women. ④ No comorbid alcohol or drug addiction or other mental illness. ⑤ Cooperative in conversation and no self-injurious suicidal ideation or behavior.
