Subcutaneous cysts usually do not go away easily on their own. There are many different types of subcutaneous cysts, including sebaceous cysts, sweat gland cysts, and some epidermis-like cysts. Regardless of the type of cyst, they are all proliferative in nature and the cyst wall is a variant of cystic cells that persist in most cases. For these subcutaneous cysts, the general treatment is surgical excision, using surgical methods as much as possible, but there are also subcutaneous cysts that are not too large individually and can be treated with laser or other physical methods, and it is generally difficult to expect it to subside completely on its own.
