Nursing measures: 1. Wrap gauze and wear eye patch on the day of surgery until the next day of follow-up to prevent unintentional damage and contamination of the operated eye; bed rest on the day of surgery.

2. Take oral anti-inflammatory drugs for 3-5 days after surgery, use antibiotic eye drops 6 times a day, once every two hours, and change to 4 times a day after a week, more than two kinds of eye drops should be separated by more than 5 minutes, and do not order eyes at night. Wash your hands before ordering eye drops, do not touch your eyes and eyelashes with the eye drops bottle, do not rub your eyes and pick up your eyelids to avoid contamination of the cut.

3.Wear tinted glasses when you go out to prevent strong light stimulation and wind and sand, and wear an eye shield for protection when sleeping within 10 days.

4.When seeing things, move your head and eyes less, read less or do not read books, newspapers and TV for a month, and do less work with your eyes at a distance.

5.Do not bathe or wash your hair for 10 days after surgery, and wipe your face with a wet towel when washing your face to prevent sewage from entering the eye and causing infection.

6.Avoid coughing and strenuous exercise, prevent dry stools, forceful head bowing, prohibition of smoking and alcohol, no spicy and stimulating food.

Health education: 1. Instruct patients to use postoperative eye drops correctly. Patients who use glucocorticoid eye drops pay attention to IOP monitoring to prevent IOP elevation. If you have eye pain and eye swelling, come to the hospital for consultation in time.

2. Wear sunglasses when going out and wear eye shields when sleeping, and try not to press the operated eye.

3.Look at books, newspapers and TV as little as possible in the early stage.

4.Follow the doctor’s instructions for regular follow-up.

5.Eat more vegetables and fruits to prevent constipation.

6.Observe your condition at all times and seek medical advice if there is any discomfort.
