Vaginal bleeding in the first few days of pregnancy

Normally, vaginal bleeding does not occur regardless of the number of days of pregnancy. If vaginal bleeding occurs between the time of pregnancy diagnosis and delivery, it is clinically abnormal, commonly caused by preterm miscarriage or placental abruption. If vaginal bleeding is detected after the pregnancy is confirmed, it is important to go to the hospital promptly to check whether the embryo is developing normally and whether the size of the gestational sac matches the number of days of menopause before deciding whether antirefetal treatment is needed. If the embryo is still developing well, bed rest and appropriate medication is recommended to prevent miscarriage.
