How big is the uterus?

Generally speaking, the length of the uterus is about 7~8cm, the width is about 4~5cm and the thickness is about 2~3cm, however, this is not absolute, and the exact size is related to a woman’s body type. The uterus is a major female internal reproductive organ and normally measures about 7-8 cm in length, 4-5 cm in width and 2-3 cm in thickness. if the size of the uterus exceeds this range, then it means that the uterus may be diseased. However, if a woman happens to be pregnant, then the uterus will appear to increase in size as the fetus grows. Therefore, it is advisable to undergo further investigations to determine the cause of uterine enlargement during non-pregnancy and then treat the condition under the guidance of a doctor.
