Patients with thyroid cysts treated with thyroid puncture injections have been shown to have significant results. Most cysts larger than 3 CM in diameter can be reduced in size by more than one-half. Many of the patients with cured thyroid cysts are relatives or acquaintances of hospital staff. The patient, Zhu, was found to have a cystic nodule in the right lobe of the thyroid gland, measuring 2.2 x 1.9 cm. After treatment the nodule shrank to 0.56 x 0.35 cm.
