How long can I live if I vomit and can’t eat in the late stage of stomach cancer?

The specific survival time of patients with advanced gastric cancer who vomit and cannot eat is closely related to the severity of the patient’s condition and the treatment plan taken. If vomiting, inability to eat, and the patient is in poor condition, he/she may survive for about 1-3 months before dying due to multiple organ failure. However, if in advanced stage, even if they are not able to eat, through enterostomy or application of enteral or parenteral nutrition, this condition may survive for a longer time, and some of them can be properly extended for about 1-2 years. Therefore, patients with advanced vomiting of gastric cancer should not give up the treatment completely, and should take active treatment measures, such as target therapy or some nutritional support therapy. Although these methods cannot completely cure the advanced gastric cancer, they can still play a certain role in prolonging the survival time of advanced gastric cancer.
