The Hamilton Anxiety Inventory, which is used to rate the severity of anxiety symptoms in neurological disorders as well as other disorders. The clinical version is mainly a 14-item version with only two factors, somatic anxiety and mental anxiety. In clinical practice, it is greater than or equal to 14 as the baseline cut-off; a score greater than or equal to 29 is defined as severe anxiety; a score greater than or equal to 21 is judged as significant anxiety; a score greater than or equal to 14 is judged as definitely anxious; a score greater than or equal to 7 is judged as probably anxious; and a score less than 7 is judged as no anxiety.
