Percutaneous lung aspiration biopsy is an operation to obtain pathology from lung lesions using a puncture needle under the guidance of chest CT. How many complications can there be? 1, is bleeding: most of the sputum with blood or hemoptysis, the chance of occurrence is about 5%, if the lesion is in the center of the pulmonary hilar, there may be a relatively large amount of bleeding, there are also in the puncture caused by the chest wall artery damage, causing the patient hemorrhagic shock, if necessary, need thoracoscopy or even dissection to stop bleeding. 2.Pneumothorax: the incidence is about 30%, the incidence of this complication is low if the lesion is close to the periphery, but if the lesion is wrapped by the lung and the puncture needs to pass through the normal lung tissue, it will cause pneumothorax. 3, tumor needle tract implantation metastasis: the incidence reported by various researchers varies, generally around 1-10%, the chance of chest wall metastasis is not too much, but the possibility of pleural metastasis is higher, which should be paid attention to. 4. Air embolism: the incidence is extremely low, and I have not encountered it since my work, and it is reported to be presumed to be due to tension pneumothorax. Overall, percutaneous lung puncture biopsy is still a relatively safe operation.
