Left kidney stone pain location

The location of the left kidney stone pain is located at the junction of the spine and the rib cage, or the junction of the psoas major muscle and the rib cage, this location is called the rib and waist point or the rib and spine point. If there is pain from this location, the presence of left kidney stones or the presence of left pyelonephritis is mostly considered. In addition to the pain in this area, kidney stones can also cause pain in the upper abdomen. If the stone is discharged into the ureter, the pain gradually changes from low back pain to abdominal pain and is accompanied by radiating pain in the lower abdomen or external genital area. This is usually accompanied by abnormal urination, and in some cases, hematuria may be present. Stones in the upper urinary tract may be associated with back pain and gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea and vomiting. However, if the stone is discharged into the lower ureter, there is usually no nausea or vomiting, and the symptoms of urinary frequency and urgency may be aggravated.
