Is pancreatic pain a constant pain?

Pancreatic pain is usually constant pain. Patients with pancreatitis may experience abdominal pain that manifests itself as persistent pain, or pain all the time, that also worsens in paroxysms, and radiating pain on the right side or both sides of the back of the shoulder. Generally, the location of the pain, as well as the character of the pain, varies depending on the site of pancreatitis. The symptoms of pancreatitis are milder, and although it hurts all the time, the pain is not particularly noticeable. The pain caused by more severe pancreatitis progressively worsens, and not only will it hurt all the time, but there will also be radiating pain, such as pain on the right side or the right and left sides of the back of the shoulder. Pancreatic cancer pain is usually most obvious in the left upper abdomen and back pain, which mainly depends on the location of pancreatic cancer and its invasion of nerves. Pancreatic body tail cancer pain is located in the left upper abdomen, and pancreatic head cancer pain is located in the right upper abdomen, and some patients mainly have pain in the back as the first symptom. The pain of pancreatic cancer is also persistent. If the pain is persistent, it is recommended to go to regular hospital as soon as possible to improve relevant examination and timely treatment, so as to avoid seriousness of the condition.
