What is baldness on the head?

Alopecia areata is a relatively common clinical condition of pathological hair loss. Patients with baldness are suddenly able to notice a round, or oval, area of hair loss on their hair. Sometimes one may appear, and sometimes more than one may appear. However, except for the loss of hair in the area of baldness, there are no abnormal clinical features on the skin. The skin of the area where the baldness occurs is very smooth, and there is no redness, swelling, pain, or breakage on the surface, and there is no flaking or peeling of the skin, or scar tissue. In clinical practice, the causes of baldness are related to mental stress, poor lifestyle habits, genetics, endocrinology, and autoimmunity. In clinical practice, the majority of patients with baldness have good results after treatment.
