Foods to avoid for kidney stones

The foods to avoid for kidney stones are related to the type of kidney stones. For example, calcium oxalate stones, calcium phosphate stones, uric acid stones, etc. Different types of stones have different daily dietary needs.
When calcium oxalate stones are present, you should limit the intake of high-calcium and high-oxalate foods, such as dairy products, soy products, animal offal, chocolate, spinach, potatoes and so on. In the presence of calcium phosphate stones, the intake of foods such as meat, fish and bone broth should be reduced.
When uric acid stones are present, the intake of high uric acid foods, such as animal offal, seafood and beer, should be limited due to high uric acid levels in the body.
After the symptoms of kidney stones appear, you should go to the doctor for appropriate examination to clarify the type and size of the stones, and then take the doctor’s advice carefully and carry out the treatment reasonably.
