Patients with scapular pain are commonly seen for the following reasons: First, scapular trauma: such as a direct blow from violence, which can easily lead to scapular fracture, the patient will have scapular pain, swelling, activity limitation, and even local fracture deformity, taking X-ray or 3D CT scan can confirm the existence of fracture. Second, muscle strain: If strain occurs in the trapezius, rhomboid and latissimus dorsi muscles, the patient will have obvious symptoms of scapular pain and scapular stiffness, and the range of motion of the shoulder joint will be affected to a certain extent. Therefore, massage and acupressure treatment is more effective for patients with muscle strain. Patients with scapular pain must be diagnosed and treated early in order to get rapid relief of clinical symptoms. In case of severe comminuted scaphoid fracture, sometimes surgical internal fixation treatment needs to be considered.
