Liver cancer may cause scapular pain. The liver is located below the rib cage and near the diaphragm, so any kind of cause, such as liver abscess or liver cancer affecting the liver, may cause liver pain and may stimulate the phrenic nerve and cause visceral nerve pulling, all reflected through the right scapular form, so liver cancer may cause right scapular pain.
