Why does my tongue feel like boiling water?

Burning mouth syndrome is a possible cause of tongue irritation, which usually occurs mainly on the tongue. It can also be caused by psychological factors, such as menopausal syndrome or vitamin and trace element deficiencies, or long-term antibiotic abuse, which can lead to dysbiosis, all of which can cause the tongue to feel like boiling water. It is usually manifested as a numbness, tingling sensation, and a burning-like pain. Symptomatic treatment is usually chosen to eliminate local irritants and discontinue suspicious drugs, as well as psychological adjustment, which is usually the main treatment.
