To assess the effect of surgery on sexual function and sleep in patients with chronic sinusitis, a retrospective prospective investigation was conducted in patients with chronic sinusitis treated with nasal endoscopy. Each patient was evaluated for preoperative and postoperative sinusitis disorder index (RSDI), and scores were evaluated for sleep and sexual function. The results revealed a significant difference between the preoperative score (1.1+/-1.0) and the postoperative score (0.7+/-0.8) regarding sexual function. Using the Rhinosinusitis Disorder Index (RSDI) assessment system, it was found that sexual function improved in patients with chronic sinusitis after sinus surgery was performed.
