There is no evidence that TCM can cure patients with coronavirus pneumonia on a large scale. From the perspective of TCM, the epidemiological features, clinical symptoms and disease development of novel coronavirus pneumonia are consistent with “epidemic disease” or “warm disease”.
The location of the disease is from the outside to the inside, and most of them follow the pattern of transmission from the upper, middle and lower jiao and the Wei Qi and Ying Blood. Chinese herbal treatment can only achieve the effect of clearing heat and detoxification, and should not be used as a therapeutic drug.
