What’s wrong if you can’t get a strong positive at ovulation?

Failure to detect a strong positive during ovulation may be caused by factors such as drinking more water before the test, having ovulated, or poor follicular development.
1. Drinking a lot of water before the test: If you drink a lot of water before the test with the ovulation test paper, it will cause the luteinizing hormone in the urine to be diluted, thus causing inaccurate detection.
2. Ovulation: After the egg is discharged, the level of luteinizing hormone in the body gradually decreases, and at this time, the ovulation test paper will show a weak positive or negative, and can not be measured as a strong positive.
3. Follicular dysplasia: If you can’t detect a strong positive during the ovulation period, it may be due to follicular dysplasia, such as follicular delay, follicular atrophy, follicular hypoplasia and so on.
Since ovulation test paper has a certain error, if you can’t get a strong positive result during repeated ovulation, it is recommended to go to the hospital for ultrasound examination to determine whether there are mature follicles. If there is no dominant follicle, it is recommended to have further examination and symptomatic treatment under the guidance of the doctor.
