Laser post-surgery care you need to treat those things (three)

Question 1: How can I avoid re-tanning after laser surgery? First of all, the skin barrier function is damaged after laser surgery, so it is important to moisturize and protect the skin from the sun, and try to do a good job of moisturizing, which can speed up the repair of the skin barrier function. Again, it can be combined with home post-laser restoration products to better ensure the recovery of post-laser effect. The epidermal growth factor in home laser post-surgery repair products can speed up epidermal repair and regeneration, and some contain hyaluronic acid or collagen-based ingredients that are good for moisturizing. Sometimes these products will also add some efficacious ingredients such as glutathione, levothyroxine, etc. to speed up pigment metabolism, and some contain anti-inflammatory ingredients, for example, to reduce the inflammatory edema reaction after laser surgery. Also remember to protect yourself from the sun and avoid applying irritating products as much as possible. Question 2: During the post-operative healing period, can’t I eat food containing pigment such as soy sauce? It is true that people say that eating soy sauce will make you darker, but this is not scientific. Unless there are artificial pigments or certain drugs such as tetracycline are metabolized and deposited on the skin, which affects the color of the skin, the natural colored foods in food are metabolized into carbohydrates and amino acids, which have no effect on the skin color. The most important thing for wound healing is to avoid infection, because infection can easily leave discoloration. There is also to pay attention to sun protection, ultraviolet light can activate the activity of tyrosinase in the skin to tyrosine as a material to generate melanin, skin darkening. But also to avoid tobacco and alcohol spicy stimulation oh, these will affect the wound vasoconstriction, tissue hypoperfusion, is not conducive to wound healing. Question 3: How many hours after laser surgery can I get wet? How should I wash my face? After laser surgery, the skin barrier function is destroyed and the integrity of the sebaceous membrane on the skin surface is damaged. Therefore, it is recommended to wash your face with water only after 24 hours after non-invasive laser, and try not to use cleanser. For invasive lasers, a small scab is usually formed after the skin is broken. The scab is beneficial to the healing of the wound and prevents infection of the wound, so it is not recommended to clean the face with water before the scab is fully formed. Question 4: What should I do if I am tempted to pick at the scab after it has formed? The scab is a kind of protection for the wound, which protects the new skin from external stimulation and allows the wound to heal perfectly without leaving discoloration. In fact, before the scab falls off naturally, picking it off by hand can easily lead to infection and cause a second trauma, which may be deeper than the original wound and easily leave a scar. Let the scab fall off naturally, if possible, the longer it stays the better. Treat the scab as a treasure in the future and take good care of it! Question 5: How to handle the skin care sequence 1 week after invasive laser surgery? The first step is to wake up in the morning and wash your face with water, avoiding excessive force and not rubbing with hands or towels; the second step is regular moisturizing, try to use some single-component medical moisturizing products; the third step is serum and so on, this step can be omitted; the fourth step is sunscreen, sun protection after laser surgery is very important, and try to physical sun protection. In the early post-operative period, try not to use makeup. At night, the skin care steps are similar to those during the day, with mild cleansing products, regular moisturizing serums, and some additional antioxidant repair products to repair the UV damage during the day.
