Those things you need to treat for laser post-surgery care (II)

Postoperative care after laser blemish removal is important. The following conditions often occur after laser skin treatment and require timely and appropriate self-care: Swelling. After the treatment of small lesions, only slight swelling will occur in the treated area. After the treatment of large lesions, especially around the eyes, there will be obvious swelling, and the swelling will reach the peak after 1-2 days, which is a normal reaction.       Itchy feeling. After treatment, itchy feeling occurs, do not scratch or wipe with other objects, can be applied externally antibiotic ointment, once a day in the morning and once in the evening, even for a week.      Crusting. After treatment, a thin brown scab will be formed on the lesion, which will generally fall off by itself in about 10 days.       Pigmentation. Some patients will have different degrees of hyperpigmentation after treatment, without any discomfort, which is a reaction to the treatment and does not require special treatment, and can take vitamin C and other drugs with whitening effect as prescribed by the doctor.        Take correct self-care. For example, do not scratch the wound after treatment, do not touch water, and gently dry it with a towel after accidentally touching water, and apply Bactrim ointment on the wound to protect it until the scab falls off.        Sun protection. To avoid postoperative hyperpigmentation, sun protection should be applied after surgery.        Use medical skin care products. Since laser surgery damages skin structures such as sebaceous membrane, stratum corneum, brick wall structure, and water channel proteins to varying degrees, skin regeneration and repair should be promoted. Suitable medical skin care products (moisturizing, sunscreen, and reducing inflammation) should be used to repair damaged skin for 3-6 months after treatment.
