New crown pneumonia outbreak during the return of foreign travel to the home how to protect

Returning from the Chinese New Year means that a large number of people from overseas have to take public transportation such as airplanes and trains to return, thus extraordinarily increasing the risk of human-to-human transmission and the possibility of exposure. In response, Feng Zijian, deputy director of the CDC, recommends that people returning from overseas should carry out self-monitoring of their health status for 14 consecutive days, starting from the time they leave the epidemic-endemic area, twice a day, and when conditions permit, try to live alone and minimize close contact with family members, reduce outings, and keep in touch with family doctors and community doctors. In case of suspicious symptoms, prompt medical consultation should be made according to the condition.
