How to tell if you have intestinal polyps

Patients can determine whether there are polyps in the intestines through anal finger test, fecal occult blood and colonoscopy.

2. Fecal occult blood: If the intestinal polyp is broken, there may be slight bleeding, you can do the fecal occult blood test, if positive, it suggests that there is a small amount of bleeding in the intestinal tract, and at this time, further examination is needed, and the existence of intestinal polyps may be found.
3. Enteroscopy: enteroscopy is the gold standard for the detection of intestinal polyps, can be directly observed through the enteroscope to the intestinal lumen with or without intestinal polyps, if necessary, can also be taken for pathological biopsy to confirm the nature of the polyp.
