What are the causative factors for skin lesions that may appear as keratosis pilaris?

Keratosis pilaris is one of the classic symptoms of actinic keratosis and is caused by frequent or intense exposure to ultraviolet light, sunlight or tanning beds. Although anyone can develop actinic keratosis, you are more likely to develop actinic keratosis if you have any of the following risk factors: 1) are over 40 years of age; 2) live in a sunny area; 3) have a history of frequent or intense sun exposure or tanning; 4) have pale, red or blonde skin, and blue or light-colored eyes; 5) are prone to freckling or burning sensations after sun exposure; 6) have a history of actinic keratosis or skin cancer; 7) have a history of skin cancer; 8) have a history of skin cancer; 9) have a history of skin cancer; 10) are at high risk of developing actinic keratosis. A history of actinic keratosis or skin cancer; 7. A depressed immune system due to chemotherapy, chronic leukemia, AIDS, or organ transplant medications.
