Diagnostic criteria of early stage lung cancer

The diagnostic criteria for early stage lung cancer are pathological biopsy, or pathological examination after resection. Among the small lung cancer nodules found, about 92% are benign, i.e. only 8% of small lung nodules may be malignant tumors. Clinical diagnosis of early lung cancer needs to be finalized through chest biopsy, puncture or local excision under thoracoscopy and sent to pathology for diagnosis. At present, many early diagnostic instruments, such as electromagnetic navigation, provide us with the method of early lung cancer puncture biopsy, which can help clinical diagnosis of whether patients have early lung cancer.
