The difference between cardiogenic shock and heart failure

Cardiogenic shock is the most serious stage of heart failure, and their etiology is different. Heart failure is mainly due to systolic or diastolic dysfunction of the heart, causing dysfunction of the entire pulmonary circulation and body circulation, with corresponding symptoms. Cardiogenic shock is due to an extreme decrease in heart function, heart pumping failure, resulting in acute pumping failure and circulatory failure. Cardiogenic shock can be understood as the most critical state of heart failure, all heart disease patients to a certain degree of disease development, will appear heart failure, only the degree of severity. Generally mild heart failure patients may not have too many symptoms, but if not treated in time, with the further progress of the disease, to the end of heart failure will appear cardiogenic shock, not all heart failure will develop into cardiogenic shock.
