How much does a hepatitis B vaccination cost?

Hepatitis B vaccine is a vaccine used to prevent hepatitis B. The price of the vaccine depends on the type and region. At present, there are two kinds of hepatitis B vaccines used in China, domestic and imported. The price of each domestic vaccine is about 17 – 35 yuan (3 shots are needed), such as the vaccine produced in Beijing and the vaccine produced in Shenzhen by Kangtai is about 30 or 40 yuan per shot, the price of each shot of the vaccine produced in Dalian is about 70 or 80 yuan, and the price of each shot of the imported hepatitis vaccine for children is about 280 yuan. The most used hepatitis B vaccine in China is the hepatitis B vaccine of Kangtai and Tiantan, both of which were introduced from Merck in the United States 20 years ago, including technology and production lines, so the quality is guaranteed. However, due to the different strains and culture processes used, there are certain differences between domestic and imported hepatitis B vaccines in terms of the number of antibodies produced, the length of vaccination prevention time and the size of side effects. Domestic vaccines generally maintain immunity (protection) for about 5 years, while imported ones can reach more than 15 years. Therefore, the price of hepatitis B vaccine varies depending on the type and region, but no matter which vaccine is given, it cannot make the body produce permanent hepatitis B surface antibodies, so that the recipient will not be infected with hepatitis B for life. When the titer of hepatitis B surface antibody is less than 10MIU/ML, we cannot be sure that we will not be infected with hepatitis B and should be replenished timely.
