Renal cysts with an irregular shape usually indicate that the cyst is non-round or oval. Kidney cysts are common structural abnormalities of the kidneys in adults, most of them are round or round-like, and a few of them are irregular in shape. If the renal cysts are small, asymptomatic and without complications, they usually do not cause harm to the body, and can be rechecked every six months to a year. However, for larger cysts with a diameter of >5cm, puncture aspiration and injection of sclerosing agent such as anhydrous ethanol can be considered to prevent recurrence. Surgery should be considered for patients with huge cysts with volume >500ml, malignant tendency or recurrence after puncture. If patients find renal cysts, it is recommended to go to regular hospitals in time, and give targeted treatment or therapy under the guidance of doctors.
