How to treat spider tumors

Spider tumor is a common hemangioma in clinical practice. Generally, different treatment methods can be chosen according to the size and location of the spider tumor: First, if the spider tumor is small in size and located in superficial body surface, the spider tumor can be completely removed by surgery and the proximal and distal vessels can be ligated to achieve complete cure; second, if the spider tumor is large in size and located in the abdominal organs, such as liver, kidney and spleen, surgical removal is more traumatic. Considering that spider tumors are mostly benign lesions, interventional treatment can be chosen to occlude and atrophy the spider tumor by vascular embolization to make it ischemic and anoxic, which can also achieve better treatment effect; 3. Protein degeneration dissolves, necrosis and absorption by itself.
