How to control the pain of diabetic foot disease?

In addition to the resting pain caused by ischemia, patients with diabetic foot disease also have pain due to ulcers, especially at night, so pain control is also important. The following measures can be taken to control pain: 1. Gabapentin: start with small doses (100-300mg/night), therapeutic dose 1800-3600mg/day. 2. Tramadol: 50-100mg orally twice a day. 3. Oripal (alpha-lipoic acid): 200-300mg, orally, twice a day; or 250-500mg (equivalent to 10-20ml of injection in 250ml of saline) intravenously, once a day.
