The patient was a middle-aged male patient who was admitted to the hospital mainly because of chest discomfort for more than 10 days, with a history of hypertension and laparoscopic cholecystectomy. After admission, the chest enhancement CT was reviewed as follows: Shen Zhen Yun, Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Aviation General Hospital of China Medical University, performed thoracoscopic resection of anterior mediastinal mass under general anesthesia on July 7, 2011, and the operation went smoothly. Postoperative diagnosis: anterior mediastinal teratoma.
