Uses of Gui Shao Di Huang Wan

The use of Gui Shao Di Huang Wan (归芍地黄丸) is for the treatment of dizziness and vertigo, tinnitus and dry throat caused by deficiency of liver and kidney, deficiency of yin and blood. Gui Shao Di Huang Wan is composed of Angelica sinensis, liquor white peony, ripened di Huang, liquor cornelian cherry, peony dandan skin, Chinese yam, Poria cocos and Ze Xie. It has the effects of nourishing the liver and kidney, tonifying yin and blood, and clearing deficiency heat. It is used for dizziness and vertigo caused by deficiency of liver and kidney, deficiency of yin and blood, tinnitus and dryness of throat, afternoon hot flashes (a burst of fever), soreness and pain in the waist and legs, and heel pain. Avoid indigestible food during consumption. Not suitable for patients with fever and cold. If symptoms are not relieved after 4 weeks of taking the medicine, consult a doctor. If medication is needed, it should be used under the guidance of a Chinese medicine practitioner.
