Scoliosis is a spinal deformity in which a single or multiple segments of the spine curve to the side with corresponding rotation of the vertebrae with anterior or posterior convexity, increase or decrease. It is a three-dimensional deformity. Scoliosis is a curvature of the spine measured by the cobb (cobb) method in a standing patient, and an angle greater than 10° is considered scoliosis or scoliosis. Scoliosis is divided into structural scoliosis and nonstructural scoliosis. Non-structural scoliosis includes: scoliosis caused by nerve root irritation, long-term postural deformity, etc., which is non-congenital, non-organic and can be corrected through gradual treatment. After the cause is removed, scoliosis can be corrected on its own. However, structural scoliosis is often difficult to achieve through conservative treatment, and even though surgical treatment can be corrected to a certain extent, regular review and adjustment is still required at a later stage. As a result, patients with scoliosis have a special body posture, which is characterized by uneven shoulder height, pelvic tilt, abnormal thoracic and breast development, and so on. And early diagnosis is important for early treatment to prevent the development of their deformity.
