What symptoms characterize psoriasis

Psoriasis is characterized by skin lesions such as scaly erythema, papules, plaques, and joint lesions, and in some patients, densely distributed pustules. Localized scaly erythema and papules appear on the skin, which gradually develop into well-bordered red plaques with silvery-white scales as the disease progresses. They are usually symmetrically distributed on the head, sacrum, and extremity extensions. Some patients may also have arthropathy, which is more common in the small joints, with symptoms ranging from mild to severe. Patients may have symptoms such as swelling and pain in the joints, and limited movement, and in severe cases, there may be deformities in the joints. Some patients may also have pustules that are pinpoint to grain-sized and densely distributed, which are prone to recurring attacks and are accompanied by systemic symptoms, including chills and high fever. If the above symptoms occur, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time for early treatment.
