Tooth decay in the gap may be caused by not practicing good brushing habits, and can generally be restored through resin filling, crown replacement, and dental veneers.
1. Resin Filling: After a cavity occurs in a gap, the first thing you need to do is to remove the blackened decayed tissues on both sides of the gap, and then use resin filling material to fill the gap in order to restore the shape of the crown.
2. Replacement of crowns: If there are more decayed parts on both sides of the gap, crowns can be used to fill the tooth after cleaning the decayed tissues. Common crown materials include: metal crowns, all-porcelain crowns, porcelain crowns and so on.
3. Dental veneers: If the decayed tooth is an incisor, after cleaning the decayed tissue, the patient can also use dental veneers to fill the tooth.
It is not recommended to eat too hard or sticky food after the tooth is filled, but also to develop good brushing habits.
