Is increased texture in both lungs a disease?

The texture of both lungs seen on X-ray consists of bronchial tubes, lymphatic vessels and pulmonary arterioles. It was previously believed that increased texture in both lungs is chronic bronchitis, which is incorrect. Increased texture in both lungs is not necessarily a disease. Increased texture in both lungs may be caused by pathological factors or by physiological factors. Moreover, there is a certain subjectivity in the judgment of increased texture in both lungs, and increased texture in both lungs cannot be fully used as a basis for diagnosing the disease. Increased double lung texture caused by physiological factors is commonly seen in people who have been smoking for a long time; increased double lung texture caused by pathological factors can be divided into the following three categories: increased vascular lung texture, mainly seen in heart disease; increased lymphatic lung texture, commonly seen in pneumoconiosis, cancerous lymphangitis, etc.; increased bronchial lung texture, commonly seen in chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis, etc. If the presence of increased texture in both lungs is detected during routine examination, a progressive examination should be performed and then the appropriate treatment should be given for the specific situation. If it is caused by physiological factors and there are no abnormal symptoms in general, most of them do not need treatment. It is recommended that such people have regular physical checkups and eat more lung-clearing foods in their lives, such as pears and fungus. Avoid smoking and drinking as much as possible, and pay attention to wearing a mask when going out on hazy days, and increase or decrease clothing according to the weather. When you go out for exercise, you should choose the time when the weather is good, and try to go out less when the environment is bad, so as not to increase the burden on the lungs.
